Andrew from California asks:
Can a batter advance to first base on a dropped third strike if 1st base is occupied?
If there are less than two outs and a runner on first than no, the batter cannot attempt advance to first on a dropped third strike. However, if there are two outs and first base is occupied, then the batter can attempt to run to first on a dropped third strike as if no one was on first.
