Dennis Garcia from Asheboro, NC asks:
In high school, how many innings does a starting pitcher have to pitch in order to be eligible for a win? Is it three or four?
We will use NFHS Baseball Rules for this since they seem to be the most standard version of rules for high school baseball. Using these rules, a starting pitcher must complete four or more innings in order to be eligible to be credited with a win. However, if a game goes less than 7 innings for whatever reason, a starting pitcher only needs to pitch 3 or more innings to be eligible for a win
